Hedge Cutting and Pruning

Shape and form is something that really makes a garden seem neat, but in the form of both hedge cutting and pruning it is an essential part of garden maintenence to keep your plants healthy and manageable.

Hedge cutting can be done all year round but we are conscious of checking for nesting birds, particularly through the Spring and Summer months, March to September. Regular light trimming tends to reduce the risk of interfering with local wildlife.

Most deciduous trees and shrubs are best pruned in late winter or early spring, October to March. However, evergreen trees and shrubs are less fussy but preferably not when in flower.
